Replays
Looks a strong team. Interested to find out who played at RWB today (if we're indeed playing 3-5-2).
the_bully_wee
Brisbane will be playing there, apart from Mitchell in for the aforementioned that's probably our starting XI right there.
ShawfieldAggro
Only thing i'd have tbh is with the three recognised strikers at the one time. Obviously there will be occasions when its required, and probably the best possible occasion to try it out has presented itself, but generally its more worthwhile to have an option on the bench, and spreading the numbers out a bit. Obviously a little thin in the centre, but again there are likely to be times (injuries after subs used, sednings off etc) that will mean just the two in midfield. The team is crying out like f**k for a creator, and SF7 better start realising that someone is him.
shawfield shed boy
I asked BF at open meeting re a creating midfielder Aggro but he doesnt think we need esp in this league.... Did ask about higgins. the_bully_wee
If the wankiness of presentation may be excused, this is how I imagine we'll line up (injuries permitting) next week:

David W
Much better level of match today if not as exciting. Brora were much better than Wick but our starting eleven was also greatly improved. Chances were rare and Ferguson hit the bar late on with a header. Their best chance came on 90 mins but Gibson pulled off a decent save. Other than that both teams cancelled each other out. Our shape was good and defensively we worked well. Should have a good amount of clean sheets. Brisbane was a bit conservative at right wingback and we missed Durie's attacking thrust out there. Going forward and we still lack a spark. Gormley was obviously off the pace but you can tell he'll come good. Higgins looked better deep but didn't run beyond like Brisbane and Marsh did last week. Think we're too easy to defend against with that starting lineup; everything was coming through the middle. I think McLaughlin and Murray is too static as a pairing. Black kit looks terrific. gyrfalcon
Think Clyde will be playing Brora on a regular basis next year if you don't get promoted. Brora play Wick on Wednesday night in the 1st round of the North of Scotland Cup.

cfcuk
thank goodness that's all the pre season p*** out the way and get the real games starred mind you don't know if I count the petrofarce as a real game ???? would have liked us to score a few goals but really these preseason games mean nothing as for anybody complaining about performances in preseason think you need to get out more ???? Jack Burton
Pre season results do not matter. Once we are month into the season we will have an idea if what we can expect. Remember the year Brown was in charge in the old first division? On paper we had assembled a good squad and pumped a full strength Hibs team 3-0 at Broadwood in a friendly and ended up getting relegated that year. Would be nice if we had a home friendly against an English team but can understand that financially it would leave us out of pocket. Didn't play Stenny away either this time. CM.
Black kit is probably my favourite since I started supporting Clyde. Really not keen on the home kit though
