Have any other father/son pairings ever won leagues with the same club? Any other interesting father/son trivia (like the Eidur Gudjohnsen substitute one) is most welcome. Arnór and Eiður are the only father and son to play for the Iceland national football team during the same game. Arnór was 34 and Eiður was just 17 when it happened. Ex-Motherwell goalie Stuart Rennie was manager at Edinburgh City for a while and later returned as assistant. His son Calum played for the team when he was assistant and I think they won the King Cup together. Adam Rae won the Junior Cup with Dunbar United in 1961. I admit to a soft spot for The Wee Rovers - perennial underdogs and born survivors. They truly deserve their celebration this season. Joe Craig received an SFL First Division winner's medal with Partick Thistle in 1975-76. His son, Steven, repeated the feat with the Jags in season 2012-13. Gordon Marshall Sr. (goalkeeper) took the feat down a different route - both of his boys followed in his footsteps by playing for Celtic. Gordon Jr. was the famous goalie and Scott was a full-back. His son Bart McGhee was the first British player to score a goal at a World Cup Finals, scoring the second ever World Cup goal for the USA in Uruguay 1930.
