connolly81
I have a lot of time for a lot of good people at camby but certain ones not allowing a potential great club again go forward
MrAnoymous
somebody already got it and lead JD on without being straight up and letting him believe he had a chance to go forward alone. That's poor imo if this is true then that's absolutely horrendous from cambuslang. Poor jd, Camby are doing nothing but damaging the reputation they have. Absolutely shocking. connolly81
J'S had every chance to woo voters tonight. He lost out by small majority. I just don't agree with certain ones getting a vote who do nothing for the club. Its only my view but guys who bust there balls and give up their time I respect their vote

ek boy
Without being disrespectful to JD he had to go. Whether he was with flannerry or not they have both oversaw the worst Cambuslang team in a long time.Someone had to take the blame for it. Cambuslang need to get up next season, but this is going to be a difficult league next year.

thelangonline
just find it strange the job isn't being advertised from outside looking in JD never had a chance with the vote The reason its not being advertised is we know what sort of managers we can attract, we only did it 12 months ago

Have to disagree with yyou here EK Boy, we did not have a bad team, we had a bad run of injuries , players leaving etc. Sheer bad luck was our biggest issue this season. Dymock, Marriott, Hamilton were good players we just failed to get them ALL on the park at the same time often enough. Anyway, time to rebuild yet again and we will and we wont rest until we get this sorted. Hard work starts now both on the park and off it
MrAnoymous
The reason its not being advertised is we know what sort of managers we can attract, we only did it 12 months ago but if you look at it from a neutral point it's not going to look good for any manger coming in he's going to have huge pressure on him to get straight up and without playing staff? if no players are getting kept on that's a huge task

If John had remained in charge, he was having to rebuild, now whoever gets the position will also have to rebuild.
MrAnoymous
But I believe john had a foundation to build on now the other guy/guys coming in are having to find 16/22 new players? Or is any of last seasons squad still there?

Or is any of last seasons squad still there? I dont think John had plans to keep many of last seasons squad to be honest. he was looking to bring in younger, hungrier players. And yea, anyone coming in that has to find 20 players knows it isnt going to be easy. Thats why I hope the committee give the new managment team some time to build. but going by what happened last night, they wont get much time from members or committee. whats donw is done and as a club we must now look forward and start the re-build for the season ahead. Onwards and, fingers crossed, feckin upwards
