Incidentally what does 41 v 33 mean in seats? Assuming uniform swing.

Mr Bairn, ure good at this sort of thing

Depends slightly on where the other votes go but if we see SNP 41, Labour 33, Tories 16, LD 4, GRN 3, UKIP 3

In terms of seats that would be

SNP - 33

Labour - 22

Lib Dems - 2

Tories - 2

New TNS Scotland poll just released.

It's a fucking doozy

SNP 54% ( :o)

Labour 22% ()

Tories 13%

Lib Dems 6%

Greens 2%

UKIP 2%

SNP have climbed 2%, labour have dropped 2%. UKIP up 1, greens down one.

A 32 (THIRTY TWO) point lead

Amazing that Labour can go as low as 22% on a Scotland only poll. Think a few weeks ago most people would have assumed their bedrock support was around 28%.

I think they've somehow managed to chase some of those away too.

They need to get shot of Murphy. He's absolutely toxic.

so just yesterday sturgeon said the democratic will of the people must be respected and yet if more people vote for conservatives she would ignore their wishes hypocrisy anyone

There's nobody stopping the Tories from trying to form government. They just won't have the number of democratically elected MPs on their side to allow them to do so. That's democracy for you.

How a simpleton such as yourself can't grasp this is beyond comprehension. It's a numbers game, involving primary school level maths. Tory seats + anyone else who will back them, won't equal a working majority.

You said it yourself. He's a simpleton. Clearly Primary 3 level maths is too advanced for him.

Latest forecast;

SNP 57, Labour 1, Lib Dems 1

I think the 1 Labour seat would fall on these numbers and is only safe on a uniform swing calculation. Maybe time for Nicola Sturgeon to make a trip to Kirkwall and Lerwick and say all the right things about greater devolution to island authorities?
