Celtic v Partick Thistle

Recommended Posts

Glasgow derby time on wednesday as we face the Maryhill Magyars with a 10-0 aggregate lead from the first three games this season against them.

Partick are a better side than most of the bottom half dross in that they pass the ball around well with good players who are capable of making things happen. They've been a tad unlucky in the two games at CP, a daft early red card was mainly responsible for a 6-0 shafting in the cup while a superb late save from Craig Gordon foiled their chances of a point in December.

Im going for 4-2 goalfest with GMS, Griffiths, Forrest and Guidetti on target

Opposition poster playing the ol "Thistle play gid fitbaw an aw that" card again. Means shit all really.

Since our return the heady heights of the top league we have lost every game to Celtic, sometimes by not very much and others by very, very much. A sub par attendance from both sets of fans and a 2-0 win is on the cards for Celtic. Boring and predictable statement but completely true.

I think we could win this thing on away goals 11-1 Thistle.

The first game when bannigen got sent off guidetti imo cheated the ref as 30secs later after rolling about as if his leg was broke not to mention the furore of brown & co making sure he got sent off he ended up sprinting 40 yards to retrieve the ball. If you play football honestly that would not have happened you would to run the "injury" off in the next 5 mins and then decide if you can carry on, but not for the first time this season the celtic can produce not just a magic sponge but something that every physio in the world would pay a million pounds for?

I'm actually looking forward to this game.

If you want to improve you have to compete with the best teams.

A performance like today and maybe a bit more luck in front of goal could make the trip to the Devil's Armpit worthwhile.

Score draw, Celtic going 1 nil up very early and then dropping down the gears and get caught out taking a dump on the park by a humiliating Partick counter attack showing Effe Fucking Ambrose up as the terrible defender that he is by probably scoring the flipping equaliser himself. :(

Really couldn't care about this and I'm surprised we've even sold 120 tickets tbh. I'll be on an island with no signal so won't find the result (3-1 loss) until Thursday.

If we play like we did today we've got to be in with a chance if Celtic are off-form but they always seem to better us even if they're shite. We did them a favour today though, so maybe they can return the favour in the shape of a point.
