Roberts got 17 points from 18 games. Both managers will have been in charge for 18 games come the end of the season, so will be an interesting comparison. McCall needs 7 points from 4 games to not be worse than Roberts, which looks unlikely. There's no doubt it's Roberts' fault they are in this position in the first place with his signings, but nevertheless for McCall to get less points than Roberts with the same players (plus new ones that he signed) is quite embarrassing. He signed an 18 month contract so he'll be in charge of the re-build regardless of where we end up, most of the squad are out of contract (including Devlin who should be next to be put on a two year deal) so he will have the option of releasing the majority of the first team. By the sheer density of the shite in this league this season they find themselves up at the top and all of a sudden WE ARE DELUDED! Enjoy it while you can because it will not last for you, never can and never will. Won't be long before the inevitable happens and you are resigned to being the West coast whipping boys and normal service will resume.
