Macca1875
No idea how this will work unless there is an astro installed, which I very much doubt! Also how can upgrades be made to the pitch when there will be double the games played on it & that's not including all the youth finals & amateur finals! Edinburgh leisure don't even maintain the changing rooms, or cut the park when it is required at the moment & don't let Lothian have the keys to do these things there self either. It's a rush on match day to sort everything out & this has caused major friction between people at the club & edinburgh leisure. They had even ran a tractor over the park a few weeks ago before they were due to play Spartans & wrecked the park, which put the game in doubt & ruined it as a spectacle! Mr Tee
Played at Saughton today. Pitch was good, the rain really helped it though. But fair play it was far better than in the past.
Macca1875
So the park will have been cracking for your final with the zip from the rain, but cut up for the midweek game Wednesday. Yaaaaaassss! Haha! Don't know why they persist on playing finals there when there are cracking astro facilities in the city these days.
shed lad
Id be very surprised if next season cup finals are played the day before a Tynecastle/Lothian home game, convinced that will come to an end.
