bc57
Lanark 5 V 0 Larkhall Thistle Don't know how good Lanark were as Larkhall were terrible. Lanark played fairly well but, I agree, Larkhall were poor and contributed to their own downfall.
onemanwolfpack
If Auchinleck are the best around then Peasy aren't too far behind. Great save from Leishman kept Talbot level in the second half after Peasy had hit the bar and post in the first.

Does that mean that mob that put peasy out the scottish aren't too far behind Talbot as well then cause they beat peasy. Sit down and shut up. der73
Few Winton and Buffs fans on here... anyone give us a quick report on the game the day please? Cheers in advance. Kilwinning 2 Winton 2 Kilwinning took an early lead, John Bradford scoring from close range. But Winton came more into it and deservedly equalised when Robbie Cochrane headed a free kick over the goalie into the net. Rest of the first half fairly even, 1 each at the break. Winton took the lead early in the second half when Ben Carson forced a cross home. Winton were clearly on top for a spell after this and should have added to their lead but Kilwinning equalised midway through the half. Willie McLaren shooting high from just inside the box. Kilwinning were probably on top for the rest of the game after that, but Winton had the odd chance as well. No more goals though. Fair result in the end

Sit down and shut up.Aye belter numbnut. Peasy were on top for a fair chunk of today's game. Scottish cups a one off and by the way that team only just lost their first league game the other week. Now back in your box.

Talbot were without mcgoldrick, campbell white , young, hyslop, and wilson, no other team in the league could cope with that injury list and still be competing so today was a brilliant result. EEKA PEEKAIt was a brilliant result for you considering you were second best for much of the game. That's what teams have to aim for and judge themselves on how well they play against Talbot. Kennie
Dalry1 Lugar 2 2 x penalties one 2 yards outside box one best dive of the season!!! 1st penalty was given for a handball inside the box, the initial contact on Stuart Wark was indeed outside the box. But the ref hadn't given a foul, the ball then bounced up and struck the defender on the hand and by this time it was indeed inside the box. Confirmed after the game by the referee. Breaking news coming out of Dalry: The referee confirms after the game, from his position of complete unbias, that he did not make a mistake. Seriously Kennie what was the point of posting that? How many of these arrogant wee boys reffing in the Ayrshire District have you come across that have the humility to admit mistakes...

~C'mon the Town~
Shettleston 2 Maybole 1 Maybole took a deserved lead after dominating the 1st half. Goals from Robertson and Anson won it for the Town in an impressive 2nd half fightback....

Definitely a brilliant result but second best for much of the game , it's all about opinion struggled with set pieces as had no centre backs due to injury that apart did well it's never easy at the peasy. onemanwolfpack
Talbot can have off days just like every other team. Winning when you don't play well and have a lot of first team players missing is the mark of champions. That's the point I was making. The difference just now with Peasy and Talbot is winning when not on top form. We have a young squad who will hopefully stay together and improve. Talbot have great belief which comes from winning so regularly and only making a few tweaks to the squad when required, we don't have that luxury at the moment because bigger clubs will always be looking to take away our big players. We, at the moment can't offer players what the likes of Talbot can, which is winning trophies and playing in the senior Scottish but hopefully it will come. Considering we were favourites to go down this season we've done remarkably well as the season has progressed.
The viper
Cheers mate... Will await Kilwinning Ranger's version of events! That's a fair version of events two evenly matched teams, who are the best two teams in the league. Both teams will probably be happy with a draw. Good, enjoyable, competitive game. Thought Bradford was the best player on the pitch, fantastic at holding the ball up and gave the winton defence a difficult time the whole game.
