As long as it isn't Gary Holt.

In all seriousness I imagine Holt would jump at the chance.

Strange and disappointing decision on Alessio. Inherited a thin squad and was without his best defender for two months and we're still 5th with the best defensive record outside the OF.

I get the impression the Killie board have bought into the same hype that their fans on here did, wildly out proportion expectations and delusions about the size of the club.

Tell me one thing he’s done that a run of the mill manager couldn’t do. Knocked out of Europe by welsh farmers, knocked out of the cup by a pish hibs team that were even worse at the time, barely above livi and Ross county who themselves are having an okish season, teams playing awful football, not interested, 1 win in 9, lost to Ross county, thrashed by livi, drew to a dreadful St Johnstone, beaten by accies already this season and only drew with them when they went down to 10 men after 30 mins. Too 6 is a decent season for a club like in Killie in general but there’s very little to be positive about this season. He’s been lucky the league is fucking woeful

Sad to hear of Angelo’s sacking so near to Christmas. He came across as a really nice guy who was passionate about the game and getting Killie into the best possible position. Definitely don’t think the results warranted the sack. Probably “player power” at work which is sickening if true.

Killie should be happy with 10th most seasons IMO.

Have to say Bowie's had a bit of a minter here.

Called Angelo the best manager in Scotland in an interview after he was appointed, then bins him 6 months later.

The board have let him down here massively, terrible recruitment when we had all summer to rectify the lack of attacking options that has effectively been a problem since Stewart left back in January/when Jones and Mulumbu left in the summer.

Looks like he's knifed Angelo in the back.

That's it yep, a lot of teams having really dreadful runs, yet pick up a win or two and a couple of draws and suddenly you're in a no bad position in the league.

He would yep. Hoping Killie don't ask him though. We're above expectation in our league position but it feels like a meh season, lots of frustrating games where we've been 2 goals up and chucked it for draws, but on the whole it's been good. Really don't want to have anything unsettling us, tight margins between where we are and dropping down into the bottom 2..
