Mulumbu was great, but there were issues, principally his discipline and his fitness.

Tell me, have we missed him? Have Celtic benefited by signing him?

Due to Power and Dicker, no, and Mulumbu wouldn't get a sniff with those two eligible. But that day is coming and he'd be spectacular cover.

Just can't see it, though I'd be delighted to be proved incorrect.

Glad to hear it. Everybody knows that there's a player in there. Great feet.

Is he the new Stevie Murray though? That's the doubt and it's up to him to answer it.

That is a very good comparison actually. Very, very good.

Agreed that we need a centre-mid therefore Wilson is a curious one. However, Mulumbu is an absolute non-starter.

For decades the cheeks have made signings purely to weaken the opposition and we've earned the right to be considered direct rivals. No chance they'd voluntarily arm us further.

Celtic sent Ryan Christie on loan to Aberdeen in each of the last two seasons despite being in direct competition with them for the title.

What a glorious day this truly is. You cannot kill the juggernaut, it simply keeps on gaining in strength.

I thought Killie fans hated Mulumbu after the game he played for Celtic against them..?

We knew it was unlikely he'd ever sign a permanent deal with us. We don't hate him - just weren't fans of his antics trying to get Tshibola sent off that day. Redemption calls.
