The Great Big Kilmarnock Thread

The pitch gets used constantly, ourselves, the youth teams, kids, even the ladies team use it for training & matches. I stay close by and the floodlights are on 6 if not 7 days a week in the evenings.

That’s really what makes having an artificial surface worth it. Constant use, and not having to either worry about where to train, or having the expenses of hiring/buying ground for training facilities.

Hence why it looks so bare in places on tv....

Imho, if we go ahead with the new one, I reckon it will be of a better standard than the current FIFA 2 star one, as they have moved on to 3 or 4 star rated ones now. I doubt the length of pile will be as long either as we no longer seem to have a need for one suitable for international rugby.

Kilmarnock to lay new plastic down. Does it f**k cost £10m to lay a grass pitch. Just admit you need to keep the shit pitch for home advantage.

Moron, check the facts.

Just you stick to your relegation battle.

We would require to buy land & build a training complex. There were a few sites looked at in and around the town which required us to build roads & roundabouts at our expense according to the council.

So what if it gives us an advantage..... we didnt hear anyone moaning when we were an easy 3 points before SC arrived.

Still an easy three points for the Dons at Rugby Park pal.

Aye but Weah is the president of Liberia Trump that.

Easy.

Whilst manager of Huddersfield, he wrote a trio of novels: Striker!, Sweeper! and Defender!. The books centred on fictional football manager Steve Barnes, based on Bruce, who solved murder mysteries and thwarted terrorists.

Got to say that is impressive but Weah would just have the terrorists shot;)
