Duns drainage

Recommended Posts

Played on Duns pitch on Saturday and thought it was ok, their drainage system has "seaweed" involved and from diving I found landing on small stones and bricks. Grazed legs and a 2-0 defeat.

First time its been played on since November but thought it held up well.

Ps shuv yer 3pm kick offs up yer hole.

To be fair its the first time the pitch has been used in god knows how long. I thought it held up well considering the weather we've had down here.

Anyway game wise it was great to be back at a very cold NHP. Duns started off quickly like the previous games. A couldn't believe Kelso played with one man upfront which ment we had so much space to control. Kelso defended well the whole game and their keeper was a credit to them with some fine saves. We eventually got our breakthrough with big lauder scoring just before half time

Second half about 5-10 mins into it big shennan scored for a corner. He must be up there with being the leagues too goal scorer? We battled on until the last ten mins. We suddenly caved in from the good football to frantic football. Kelso could have felt they could have won the game in the last ten mins. First eith hitting the post, second missing a header at a corner and lastly tansey having to pull off a great save at the end to deny them

Overall another 3 points, another clean sheet but still needs to up the performance levels though IMO.
