The 2016 US Presidential Election

The Republican party elite's main objective has always been reducing taxes on the wealthy. How do you get votes from the poor and uneducated that you need to get elected? Throw a few bones to satisfy and stir up populist bigotry.

To be fair, the Republicans' policy has been to reduce taxes for everyone. When it comes to stirring up racial hatred and religious bigotry, no Republican comes close to Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton and Louis Farrakhan.

Al Sharpton led actual race riots in which Jews and people thought to be Jews were killed by mobs. Every Democrat candidate still goes to kiss his ring though.

Good article here on how the Republican party created the paranoia for Trump to exploit.

So you think Republican voters might want less immigration than having 15% of the country foreign born with little enforcement of stopping criminals from entering because some bigwig Republicans dog whistled racism? It can't be that people decided for themselves what policy they favored, and then Republicans refused to address it as a priority for decades. The Republican establishment and the Democratic Party as a whole blocking any sensible immigration reform and enforcement as "racist" is what led to voters embracing Trump.

A few days ago a female Ted Cruz lookalike appeared on Maury looking for her baby's daddy.

This moved fast.

The Female Ted Cruz Doppleganger From ‘Maury’ Is Now Doing Adult Films Because America!

proxy.jpg?t=HBgfaHR0cHM6Ly9pLmltZ3VyLmNv

Your spank bank is about to get a lot weirder with the upcoming addition of Ted Cruz doppleganger Searcy Hayes’ sex tape. Hayes catapulted to national spotlight last Monday, when an appearance on The Maury Show made everyone realize she resembled Ted Cruz, but in drag. Well, all that attention garnered led to porno website XHamster offering the 21 year old and her 25-year-old fiance thousands of dollars for the world’s shortest celebrity sex tape ever.

For $10,000, Hayes and her husband will be recording a six-minute sex tape that’s yet to have a title. That’s about $1,666.66 per hot and steaming minute. The Mississippi mother-of-one says she didn’t have to think twice about making a sex tape because she’s done them before, but this time, she needs the money. “I’m fine with it because everything is going to support my family,†she said to Huffington Post. “I want to get my son whatever he wants.â€

This is just the kind of novelty porn America wants, apparently. XHamster spokesman Mike Kulich told The Huffington Post Ted Cruz with a wig is right up our alley, telling the media giant, “We wanted Searcy because overnight she became a viral meme.†Adding, “I think a lot of XHamster viewers really wanted to see her in action.†Or maybe they wanted to see Ted Cruz in action? Either way, it works.

And much like Kanye West gets off knowing his wife helps young boys become men, Hayes’ fiancee is also ecstatic over his wife being famous. “It’s kind of exciting and shocking to know she’s famous — she’s more famous than Madonna!†he commented to HuffPo. “I’m with a star.â€

Huffington Post notes the couple will be filming their sex tape with an iPhone, which will ensure that we see every crack and crevice in glorious high definition, just as Steve Jobs intended it.

As the article indicates, the only way you can get thick poor people to vote for tax cuts for the rich and welfare cuts for themselves is to blame someone else, the people providing you with fruit and vegetables at an affordable price and cleaning your homes and offices, looking after your kids while you're working etc.

The people driving down wages for the folks who clean offices and nanny kids so rich people can have even more money.

Americans aren't going to pick fruit of course, but you can have a guest worker program where people from foreign countries who want to work can come and do that before returning home.

As Trump has made full use of, hugely cutting the hiring of American workers in Florida to cut his wage bill. While at the same time criticizing the law that allows it to get votes from American workers.

I'm not going criticize a businessman for doing what's best for him under the system we have. That's what his competition is doing as well, so taking some grand moral stand won't accomplish anything other than driving you out of business. What's important is that we get the system turned around to favor American citizens in our own country.

Held up flying into Philly today for VIPs. Some democracy this is in America. And to think they ridiculed the party lanes on the old USSR. f**k American hypocritical c***s. Rant over.

During the referendum, miles of road was closed in Glasgow so the PM didn't need to stop on his way to Clydebank.

Scotland huh?

Are you referring to the prescreened frequent fliers or something else?

In Virginia Democratic Governor Terry McAuliffe has restored voting rights to violent felons. It's up in the air whether this is a constitutional action without the legislature. McAuliffe was a legendary fundraiser for the Clinton machine during the 90s. Ex-felons are of course an overwhelming Democrat constituency in states where they can vote and there's almost no path for a Republican to win the White House without Virginia.

No. We were flying a holding pattern for 30mins due to VIP movements. The captain then announced that it was presidential candidates and to remember to vote today if you were local!

The point being that it happens everywhere.

But don't let that stop you from having yet another tear stained rant.

So you do not actually have a point. The fact that it "happens everywhere" is not a reason why 300+ people (I would think it was vastly more than this as it would not have been only my flight) are delayed for a single person.

Your comparator is meaningless as you don't have to travel on closed roads, or travel at all. This is rather different to being in an aeroplane that has flown over the Atlantic and then cannot land.

I'm sure if you were to substitute royalty for presidential candidates you would get the same effect.
