Sorry if it was obvious but how did AC12 get in touch with McQueen and Corbett through the laptop? Did they use the number Corbett gave Arnott or was it something else?

Somehow the tech guys in the police were able to fake the connection from data collected by the network used by the OCG, f**k knows how they managed that and actually made a connection, maybe some techy guys on here will confirm if it was possible or simply a plot device used to go from a to b

I also wondered how "H" got in touch with McQueen in the first place - I thought it was a bit odd when after that job she told Corbett "Well, you've got attention now", introduced him to the laptop and then Corbett started chatting with, presumably, "H".

I assume it is possible. Again dunno how though. The exact layout of the chat was what threw me. Then I thought "nah, you could identify a program used" then I thought "they don't know it comes up with "unknown" when the laptop chats".

than I thought "Stop it, Just enjoy it"

The storyline is great in LoD but I think it's fair to say they take some shortcuts to play out the storyline as you've alluded to.

Doesn't particularly bother me but it is noticeable and you can pick it apart if you pay enough attention.

I have a feeling in the next series they will turn this into a Northern Irish terrorism/ paramilitary theme and go full circle on the first episode with Arnott's counter terrorism past and his old gaffer Osborne will be behind everything and Arnott will bring him to justice. Hastings will also have a past involving this with Corbett's parents.

HM Prison Maze or "H-Block" in Northern Ireland is where they held paramilitaries and I have a feeling this is what H stands for as both Terry and Roisin's door where lettered as apposed to numbered.

Or I could be talking utter shite. (Probably the latter)

If you are talking bollocks, i hope mercurio reads it as it sounds like the type of bollocks that LoD is made for, i could easily enjoy a storyline like that

Just caught up with this last night.  Guffaw moment when Ted was grilling Steve in the room about what was said when he disconnected his mike at the meeting with Corbett.

Ted - So where is the meeting?

Steve - I'm concerned about leaks if I share that information.

Ted - well I'm looking round this room, and only see 2 of us here, sonny!

Just started this as so many people were recommending it. Didn’t think I would like it but I’ve went through the first two series in the last week.

There is some gaping plot holes that you could try and pick the bones out of but if you let that go over your head it’s a good show, if slightly predictable sometimes.

Binged this over the last two weeks. Can't believe took so long. This is superb television! Devastated with last week's ending. It's being set up to look like Hastings is the main man, I'm still not convinced though.

Here we go!

Dunno if it's because I really like him but I'm just not seeing it as Hastings. Someone is pulling the strings and has told Moffat(?) to say he had nothing to do with that money. He was far too keen to get Hastings on board.
