The best drama series by some distance is back tonight on BBC2, just started but im about to watch it on playback from the start.

Since the hidden gem that was the brilliant Deutschland 83 finished last month there has been a void for hard hitting quality drama, LOD and This Is England are and have been the best thing commisioned in years on UK TV in an era sadly dominated by reality television and similar shite

I dont mind small doses of Big Brother and Geordie Shore which can have their entertaining moments but there are a host of shite spins on these concepts of shows as well as the endless guff from Simon Cowell and the like, not since the likes of Cracker by Jimmy McGovern has there been genuine hard hitting gripping drama like the title thread and This Is England.

Good news as well that another two series have been commisioned for AC12 and co, Jed Mercurio is by all accounts well into writing them :)

He's obviously a good guy. He saved the wee dog.

Get a feeling Harry is dodgy. But who pulled the trigger

Think maybe Danny himself?

Just caught up with it last night. Looks like the standard of the first two series is going to be maintained. Cracking stuff.

I actually really enjoyed pretty much everything. They did a great job of building Danny through it. Especially the interrogation scene. Just such an arrogant demeanor and came across as a proper dickhead.

Looking forward to seeing how righteous his deal actually is.
