Fair play, both teams tried to make a game of it in terrible conditions, but it really was shite. Didn't have a great view of it, but that miss by Boyle looked a shocker.

Dundee fans look to have been spot on in that he will miss way more chances than he'll score. His pace is a good option to have from the bench though.

You're right. He does well to get into the positions, but some of the misses have been unreal. Had hoped his hat-trick for the u20s would have made him a bit sharper today.

I had a great view and it was bad should have been a simple tap in, it helped our goal difference so good on him.

I thought we played well, without creating too much - up front continues to be our weakness, although Roberts has certainly given us something a bit different.

Scott Allan is a class act and it's a pleasure to watch him play at Alloa. He can go on to have a top career if he wants it and applies himself correctly. Hibs midfield four of Allan, Fyvie, McGeoch and Roberston would comfortably compete in the SPFL Premiership. It says a lot again for our midfield that we gave them a good game. The only weaknesses we had yesterday IMO were Layne and McDowall, and they did their best. The rest of the players did well - the back four yet again showing what a good unit they are. Meggatt's physical battle with David Gray was enjoyable.

Starting with Isaac over Liam was an odd one for me. There were clearly reasons behind it, Barry spent a lot of the first half shouting to Isaac to take up a specific position, but it didn't work.

Good results for us elsewhere. The attitude the team is showing is good and we can win next week. It would be an important three points if we did.

Ref was completely fine.
