Hibs v Berwick

Just tuned in. Only 4-nil to Hibs?

I genuinely thought that this would be Hibs' 10-niller. Sounds like Berwick had a fair few chances in the second half too?

I saw Berwick labour against an average non-league Spartans side (this isn't their best season). Hibs are also 'the best team in Scotland' on current form according to some.

Still, its their year.

Full time team(at home) v Part-time team simple. A home draw for Berwick may well have been a lot more interesting.

First goal is a hoof up the park that ends up back in our net. Curries tackling was poor all day hence 2-0. He had a nasty one in the first half the ref didn't see.Third was after the substitution which caused our shape to go awry and the last one was a great corner(where the ref changed his mind) finished in brutal fashion.

If you avoid Celtic you may go far. Oh and thanks for the money.

Hope the Tweed overflows and floods with your tears on the way home

Paulo is hurting right now

Not really. Watching Hibs' season turn to tatters in April/May while we have the cigars out is going to be beautiful. 8)

Lewis, played the ball through
And the pass found Muffin
Dom pinged it 'round; Lewis found
Then he made it two-nuthin'
Sam, tapped in a rebound
Game over at three-nuthin'
Fontaine, then uses his height

And the result is a stuffin'

He was saying it was a hoof up the park from us, which within moments came all the way back and been clinically dispatched into the goal?

Altogether it was a bit of an anti-climax. Players put a shift in and we'd some brief spells of pressure - particularly at the start of each half - but we were thoroughly outclassed.

Hopefully we won't wait another 35yrs for a QF.

I thought the decision to start Russell on his own up top was a bit questionable but it didn't really matter in the grand scheme of things, and ideas of throwing Lavery in when it was 2-0 in the hope of nicking goal and seeing what might happen was a good one. But still, what might have been.
