Did not expect to get anything from this game but to lose a goal just 4 mins from the end is the pits. Just keeps on happening losing goals in the last few minutes, it just keeps killing us.

One small comfort is that the gap between Ayr and ourselves is still 6 points. Away to Morton next week just need to pick ourselves up and hope we can get something from this match.

Created more chances today than the last 3 games. Should have been 3 or 4up. Missing those chances allowed Stirling to come into the game. Fans and players got frustrated. Eventually the subs made a difference. Frank forcing it over following a few efforts from close in. Overall I thought we deserved to win but we made very heavy weather of it. Game spoiled by the very strong winds blowing across pitch. Oh a big shout for Willie Gibson who made a goal saving tackle.

Btw what we're the Stirling fans doing in the home toon end behind the goals in the 2nd half. Why were they not with there other fans in away areas. Police and stewards had to escort them away. The jeers they got as they were escorted away was more enjoyable than that period of the match.

Sounds like the defeat will be hard to take for Stirling. From a neutral perspective, there seem to have been a lot of games this year where they have just narrowly missed out on a result.

Anyway, I'm wondering if anyone can let me know how Longridge, Rumsby, Gallagher and Mitchell played for Stranraer and how Cunningham played for Stirling?

Looking forward to seeing Stranraer on the TV next week and it'll be interesting to see how the young guys do. Won't be worse than 6-2 anyway.

Sad that we would want or need segregation at a game between us and Stirling. Were the fans behind the goal misbehaving or were police and stewards just being jobsworths?

Stranraer must have amazing segregation if you can just leave the away end and stand with the home fans

Don't enforce it unless the so called big guns from the league come to town.

Too many police and stewards at our games. Hope it doesn't cost the club too much because they're hardly worth it.
