SUPERSOUTH
Really Looking forward to this match 4th v 3rd. With all the recent transfer activity it will add a little more to the already important fixture. If Queens win plus win the game in hand it would open up an eight point gap. gav-ffc
Falkirk 2-1 Queens Baird in the first minute at the Queens end. Millar to spank one in from 25 yards just before half time to bring it level. Last minute screamer from Kerr to win it for us.

Guest
Fancy us now. We looked good today and QoS don't nearly have the tools to cause us the problems Hibs did at times. Morgan looked a real handful in the last 15 minutes.

Skyline Drifter
Fancy us now. We looked good today and QoS don't nearly have the tools to cause us the problems Hibs did at times. That's right. We're a very limited side who are fortunate to be still above the relegation playoff spots. That's why we trail the good / big teams like Hibs and Falkirk by so many points and have lost every game against the two of them so far this season. As im sure baird and loy will give us something to think about. Falkirk havnt beat us this season and im not so sure that will change next week. Would take a draw though and with hibs the following week it will be interesting to see how the table looks in two weeks time.
Northfield 53
Falkirk have made some good signing going to be a hard game. Millar for us is a gamble for us. I just hope he wants to play for Queens as he has had 6 month doing nothing for Peterhead. Would love Queens to get a new striker in this week. Asking a lot of Lyle to play 90 mins. We never seem to do well at Falkirk hopefully that will change on Saturday.

Sloop John B
Usually these games are pretty nervy with 1 in it with Falkirk scoring a late winner/ equaliser. But with the recent transfer activity as well as the competitive battles between the two sides over the past year and a half make it a very interesting match. If Millar is fit enough i'd bring him in instead of Kidd as it is pretty lightweight. Hopefully we press up on Kerr as he looks a completely different player if you give him a fair bit of time. But you do not have one player with the quality of Allan, Cummings, Robertson, Craig or Mcgeouch. Neither do we. Your strength for me is in defence. Carmichael I rate as I do Reilly. If we stop them I fancy us.

Queens are solid at the back and probably have the divisions best centre half they are a very dangerous side on the break & I think we have to beat them next week to finish above them...Mark millar is a dead ball specialist and would love nothing more than ramming it right up Houston so we have to be careful ....can see this being 1-0 I just don't know which way....if the Carmichael that played in the second play off shows up then leahy is in big trouble

Distant Doonhamer
Another week closer to fitness for Baird, WTF do Queens do in training? Nice one. Our training is an absolute disgrace TBH. Usually couple of games of attack V defence and then divi up the Benson and Hedges between the players. Still seems to be enough to have us ahead of Falkirk mind you.
