gb46836
It's that time again when fans and pundits argue and debate about who they feel deserves the Manger of the Month Award! It's a two horse race between Tommy Wright and Derek McInnes McInnes himself would concede he was fortunate to get the manager of the year award last season having lost 2nd place to Motherwell - for some reason the awards are handed out before the season ends! Aberdeen fans will feel it should be McInnes, 5 wins on the spin and 2nd in the league! Not sure what the criteria is to win the manager of the month award but one can only assume its the manager who has won the most points - Step forward Sir Tommy Wright! 16 points from the last 18 - McInnes managed 15 from 18! After 6 consecutive losses Wright has seen saints DWDWWWWWW Now watch the award go to McInnes

It's not called the "Manager of the last month and a half" award as far as I can recall...
gb46836
As it's 12 points a piece for December the logical thing to do would be to look at matches prior to the last 4 - no? Maybe they should leave it until after the game on the 1st - winner takes all! Mind you I reckon Aberdeen will sneak another 1-0 win
Moo
It definitely should be Tommy Wright. Hopefully the curse strikes and we start to claw back points on them.
muttonhumper
Well, no. Surely it'll look at those they beat and their respective positions. Funny you should say that, as they both beat the same 3 teams and a n other. Hamilton in oor case and St. Mirren in St Johnstone's case.

Granny Danger
On results only - McInnes On results in relation to resources - Wright We continually underestimate managers/clubs in relation to the money they have to spend. ICT and St Johnstone are doing really well considering the budgets they have to operate within. Aberdeen should be romping second place using the same criterion. Off the top of my head but did saints even add to their squad apart from McFadden and Morgan?
