d31
I was thinking about this thread last night. Aberdeen can win the league without beating Celtic Not sure would go as far as saying four defeats though
PFC2011
No, the very fact is if Aberdeen had even won a single match tugs far then the standings would be remarkably different. Aberdeen need to go on another run of wins and beat Celtic in their final head-to-head, which I believe could yet again be at Celtic Park.
AR851903
which I believe could yet again be at Celtic Park. It should be at Pittodrie, though not a guarantee with the powers that be...
mrpaddyx
Aberdeen would probably have to win every game from now to the end of the season to have a chance.
d31
Both teams have tough fixtures so still plenty to play for yet
PFC2011
It should be at Pittodrie, though not a guarantee with the powers that be... Am I wrong in stating only the Old Firm & Edinburgh derbies are protected from this ridiculous scenario?

d31
is there any examples of Dons not getting 2 home 2 away against Celtic before?

Blue and white stripes
Yes as long as they draw the remaining Celtic game and do not lose. They may also need to get their scoring boots on, if Celtic do lose it is only by the odd goal and if they win it is often by at least 3, Aberdeen do have some good margin victories but mainly they win by the odd goal which can easily turn into last minute draws. tlg1903
Taking the team away to sunnier climes this week could yet prove to be a masterstroke.
d31
certainly if they can put a winning run together. Try to win 3 or so on the bounce and ask questions of the treble winners
WeeMentalDavie
No chance, Wednesday was a minor blip on the way to a treble
The Great Stagsby
It's wonderful that this thread is still relevant, that the title's not out of sight yet. Indeed much to play for, with St Johnstone's win obviously ramming that point home. Must be so frustrating for Dons fans to see that so soon after their own thrashing. And infuriatingly ironic that, so far, as Celtic's closest challengers they are also one of only 4 teams to have failed to take any points off them yet. d31
which shows Celtic have raised their game against aberdeen. hopefully they let their focus slip in a couple more games where there is no significant contest (copyright Ronnie)
