The SNP want to decrease corporation tax, but they also want to scrap tax avoidance schemes. This way, smaller businesses will have it easer, while larger companies such as Amazon and Starbucks will have to pay their share as well.

Seems fair to me.

Wait....

Aren't you one of the gimps who have desperately defended the SNP s plans to decrease Corporation Tax.. Something they've been told increases inequality in society????

A supporter of the party of John Mason and Brian Souter.

And you have the nerve to talk about principle???

You have the nerve to criticise corporation tax cuts when Labour did it THREE times while in power.

Hypocrite.

Hypocrite.

This sums up the scam on offer, I think - the idea that the SNP's spray-on populism is in some way wildly different to the Labour Party's rizla-thin veneer of socialism, while supporters bicker and henpeck over a policy that both parties endorse.

I notice that redistribution isn't available to voters in Scotland or England, no matter which wanky little flag we might choose to wave.

Uh huh.

So as s socialist you support plans to increase inequality in society and give a governmental gift to the rich.

Source - err.. The SNPs economic adviser Joseph Stieglitz.

Time for another alias Confidemus.

Also... these plans to 'scrap tax avoidance schemes'. What are they ? I'd like to read more about these SNP plans. In the White Paper were they?

Yes.I thought so. Outed you as a hypocrit very successfully here.

What very specifically does Labour Party policy have to do with me?

What s complete nightmare you've had.

Top tip. If you wish to be an SNP fanboy...as you are... Be very mindful of their scumbaggery.

Hiya confi.

Please explain how the tax schemes will be altered to ensure that Amazon and Starbucks pay tax.

Remember that such schemes must be seen to not discriminate against companies paying tax in the EU.

Eh, I don't think you're quite getting this. As things currently stand, it's the large corporations that are getting the tax breaks, while smaller companies are paying high corporation tax. The SNP want to lower corporation tax while removing the loop holes that allow larger corporations to cheat the tax.

Which part of this are you not understanding?

And I want to flap my arms and fly.

Again please provide detail of how that will work in an EU context.

Err, yes Confidemus.

And I asked you for details of these proposals - ya known, to "remove" these loop holes.

Which loop holes specifically, and what plans do the SNP have to "remove" them? Where is this documented Confi?

Did the economic advisor mention the exceptional circumstances of an independent Scotland when talking about corporation tax cuts as being regressive ? Did he mention the SNP at all.

I thought a yes would result in the world falling in on itself and all the businesses leaving Scotland. Wouldn't you say that a cut may make them stay or entice others to take their place ?

Truth is usually predictable.

You've demonstrated several times that you put the party before any kind of principle.

if that what takes, for you to get through the day, thinking you are right and beyond reproach, who am I to attempt to dent your fragile ego

Ach, he must've been trolling again.

Colour me surprised

Why would it be discriminatory? Right now it discriminates against small businesses that can't operate on an international scale.

The solution is pretty simple. There needs to be a law change in the UK, that allows the treasury in the UK to tax proftis made in the UK from UK sales by companies operating in the UK, regardless of where a companies head office is located.

That's already the basis for corporation tax. Its the schemes dreamt up by the accountants that are the problem.

The Onionists have been in full-on meltdown since they won the referendum; not sure what will happen when they lose. Hopefully the NHS will be planning for this eventuality.

It'll be a wee bit like the Captain of the Titanic as his ship was sinking beneath the icy waters of the Atlantic going, "...but this ship is unsinkable...".
