The REAL Rookie Cookie Posted December 24, 2014 Share Posted December 24, 2014 Christmas & New Year Food Collection In aid of the Penicuik North Kirk & Sacred Heart Food Banks Penicuik Athletic v Bo’ness United Before Saturday’s Super League match between Penicuik and Bo’ness, kickoff at 1:30pm, Penicuik will be collecting donations for the North Kirk and Sacred Heart Food Banks at Penicuik Park. Donations will be collected from 1130 until 1530 and in the event of the match being postponed the collection will still go ahead from 1130 until 1330. Please only bring non-perishable foodstuffs, tinned fruit, vegetables, potatoes, steam pudding, rice pudding etc, sugar (500g bags), coffee, teabags, UHT or powdered milk, pasta sauces, fruit juice cartons, tinned meat/fish, and also tinned tomatoes, cereals, dried pasta, instant mash. Also toiletries and any excess Christmas gifts wouldn’t go amiss. Cash donations also welcome to help fund the ongoing ‘perishable’ food supplied by the PNK Foodstore and the Sacred Heart. Please bring along what you can, it’s appreciated. Thanks for your support and a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all from Penicuik Athletic. I hope all Bo'ness supporters bring a bag full. Ill be thru with a bag no matter if game is on or off. Sadly this is an issue closer to home also with food banks in both Linlithgow and Bo'ness.
