Bobby_F
For someone who plays a lot of FM you really don't grasp the game of football well. We struggle against long ball footballing teams, I admitted that. You dispatched us easily enough because of that, I admitted that. The rest of the league though don't seem to struggle against your tactic, which is a shame for you. Descriptions of Saints goals from Sporting Life: "However, the Paisley side went ahead in style after 28 minutes. Dundee defender Thomas Konrad lost possession and McLean quickly played a pass out wide to Sean Kelly, who in turn cut the ball back for the midfielder to dispatch a perfect left-foot finish low into home keeper Kyle Letheren's far corner from 18 yards. On 68 minutes Saints struck the decisive second goal through Mallan. The midfielder went on a solo run which saw him skip past several challenges before sliding a near-perfect shot from 20 yards past the diving Letheren and into the far corner. And 10 minutes later Saints completed the rout after Paul McGinn had committed a last-man foul on McLean, who was trying to connect with John McGinn's pass inside the box."

Elixir
One way or another the Maureen's are still going down. If they finish 11th they will either get pumped rotten by Hibs or shite their pants against the Sevco.

Ludo*1
1 win against us (Who have the 3rd worst record at home in the league, only St Mirren are worse and County have the same amount of wins, also collecting their single home win against us) and St Mirren fans are creaming their pants at staying up. 10 points behind us, 6 points off safety and absolutely nothing to suggest they can stay up for the best part of 5 month. It's a similar feeling to when we appointed Bomber and started to believe even though there was no realistic chance of it ever happening and the best we could do was give another side a slight scare as if it was an attempt to justify our season. There is no chance, zero, zilch, none, nada that St Mirren will finish above us this season and that's even if they beat us in every game we play against them for the rest of the season. Have you ever had a recognised striker on the field when Thompson has been out? Not sure you can count haddies such as Marwood or Ball, and you certainly don't seem to be either as Ball did come on. Crow about it, by all means, savour it even, but don't suddenly think you'll need less than a minor miracle to survive finishing in either the bottom 2 spots.

So St Mirren don't have a recognised striker then other than Thompson? So every win St Mirren have this season is going to result in mass creaming of pants, because 'we don't have a recognised striker'?
AberdeenBud
We didn't win for 3 months ffs. I don't see any creaming of pants that we're gonna catch Dundee, just Ludo continuing to make a bit of a tit of himself tbh.

Lex
1 win against us (Who have the 3rd worst record at home in the league, only St Mirren are worse and County have the same amount of wins, also collecting their single home win against us) and St Mirren fans are creaming their pants at staying up. 10 points behind us, 6 points off safety and absolutely nothing to suggest they can stay up for the best part of 5 month. Still absolutely spewing with rage I can tell you're new to this league. Firstly, if the season finished tomorrow we wouldn't get relegated. Not sure if anyone has explained the playoff system to you, you should look it up. Secondly, you never appointed Bomber Brown till February. After the January window and well further into the season when it was too late. Completely incomparable situations. I'm fairly certain at least one of Thistle, Killie or Dundee will get dragged into the mix before the split. Motherwell have cut the game between them and you from 10 points to 4 points in 2 games. That's how quickly it can change. I've just had a look at last seasons table. Guess how many points Hibs were clear of 11th on the 29th of December after 19 games? Ho hum. They were 13 (thirteen) points clear. Yes, they were further clear than you are now and there were was 1 less game left. They would go on to finish 12th on points earned. I'm sure you're getting an idea of just how stupid you're sounding now. All 3 of Thistle, Killie and Dundee are more than capable of putting together a horrendous run of form like Hibs did. You won't hear fans of Thistle or Killie crowing like you about 'nilch, nada, no chance' though. That's because unlike you, they understand this division. Maybe one day you will too.

Set up the third goal with a great cross. Despite having limited game time Ball had already got a couple of league goals and assists to his name. That's something someone like Tankulic could only dream of. Oh and 'The Tank' is a year older too.
AberdeenBud
Yeah it was McGinn, but let's not let that distract us from what a monumental whalloper Ludo is being.
Lex
Hm nope it was definitely Ball haha. Pass over the top from Naismith, chased down by Ball in the orange boots and knocked in on a plate for Kenny. P McGinn did flatten McLean right enough....?
Stu
The match reports also say it was McGinn. A lot of match reports also say it was Kelly who passed to McLean for the first when it is clear in the highlights it is Tesselaar. Resolution is crap at work but from watching the highlights it looks like Ball to me for the third.
