Mark Connolly
I counted Davidson as £1.8m, as after clauses thats what the fee would've (could've) been. Much like the £800k fee for May. I'm pretty sure we only got £400k up front for him. But would Callum Davidson of Dunblane count as a home grown player under No8STJ's criteria? Alert Mongoose
Has No.8 finally walked away from The Rangers and pitched up at the Saints?
Shengus Khan
If we're allowed to go back 20 years then surely Lord Christian of Dailly is well worth a mention? He must have cost about £10 million in fees throughout his career and earned more caps than you can shake a stick at. He slightly tarnished himself by joining the Glasgow Funs but overall he's a good lad.
No8STJ
Davidson, Dunblane is in Perth and Kinross, you can have Monifieth, Ferry but Carnoustie is in Angus! Alert, if you know me you will know I walked away long before the fiasco at Ibrox and for non-football reasons. Just so we are clear and you are not starting any pooh! Shengus Khan
Monifieth is in Angus as well fella. It's beyond the Dobbies boundary line.
No8STJ
Ok you can have Angus, Dundee and Angus population 270k Perth and Kinross 147k. TBF it's sad for both areas that there are not enough local boys have come through the system. SK does Brew count or is Muirhead in Angus....... stumigoo
I'm happy enough that we produce good young Scottish players without worrying if they are from Dundee, Dunblane, Dumfries or Dunfermline. Good clubs with a good youth system recruit from all over Scotland.
