Ludo*1
Big improvement against Motherwell, McLean had a really good game which was great to see. For us to win we'll probably need to score at least 2 goals and players like McGinn,McLean, Goodwin and McAusland will need to be on form. Harkins guaranteed to either score or play like Iniesta. Whats happened with McGowan, is he really injured? Yes, he should start this Saturday though.
Bobby_F
Going to miss Thommo for this one. Even though he's far from fit, he still seems to be more of a threat than our other strikers. I'd almost be tempted to give McLean another shot up front. He managed to play the 'loan striker' really well for 70 minutes on Saturday.

sergie's no1 fan
Yes, he should start this Saturday though. Ah right, cheers. So it was just coincidence. He is a great player, bit of a hot head though, wonder if they'll pin McGinn on him. Remember you lads said GGH and McGowan couldn't play together? What a laugh that was! It certainly didn't work for us, although it seems as if that was down to the management team. They used Harkins out on the left and very advanced, almost as if they were shoving him out the way. They played McGowan in a very deep role which he wasn't performing in, we lost a few goals with him being caught in possession on the edge of the box. As soon as Harkins was dropped and McGowan was played more advanced our results dramatically improved.
Dee Man
I can understand St Mirren getting rid of Harkins. He didn't mark his man at a corner at Ross County once and that is simply unforgivable.

Always looked a great player against us too, just seems to fit in at Dundee for some reason.

Think you've just got to see Harkins for what he is and realise that you're a man down defensively. He's actually playing up front with Clarkson for us and rarely comes deep. djchapsticks
I can understand St Mirren getting rid of Harkins. He didn't mark his man at a corner at Ross County once and that is simply unforgivable. On a similar vein, this time last year, he started at Fir Park in a 3-0 drubbing. At this point most of the Saints fans were already against him for a series of performances in which he was an inept passenger and those who weren't were firmly swaying away from him. There was a moment at 1-0 where he took a corner and the ball was headed back out in his direction but about 4 or 5 yards behind him and no 'well player coming out to close him down. A great position to take a touch and get another ball back in. He simply allowed it to pass him by for a shy. The Motherwell fans were having a field day laughing at him. For whatever reason, he didn't fit in at St. Mirren. Quite simply put, he wasn't the channel that all our play went through. I'm not saying this is the case at Dundee either, but he certainly seemed to expect it to be the case with us. Then on the occasions when we did play him in an advanced position, he was found wanting.
BC17
Thats true their toad in the hole is out of this world, but I can remember it being rather expensive. Wouldn't want him to take a pounding so close to christmas. Usually get a discount if you ask for 'toe in the hole' instead. Bit of an inside joke but it works brilliantly. The lads in there love a bit of tongue in cheek banter.
PhoenixOfTheAshes
In order for Lexy to gain some credibility, and lose his shitebag, disappearing quicker than a magic act status, i propose a bet . £50 charity bet on outright winner. Home win. Lex quote from earlier in season: 'Anyone can beat anyone on their day in this league'. Thank you.
PhoenixOfTheAshes
If he accepts, i'll also throw a brand new set of St Mirren curtains in for him.
