spud131
Looking to book a trip for me and the missus in February and March. Looking for any recommendations for decent hotels near the city centre. Looking for something half decent without paying through the nose for it!! Hawk89
Thinking of booking a couple of nights in Dublin in November to take the missus away for her birthday. We'll probably be about the city for the 3 days, is a hire car worth it for getting around or is the public transport decent enough?

Last time I was over I stayed up in Swords as it was on business, so never really been into the city before.
Mr Rational
Wynns Hotel. Stayed there with a girl I randomly picked up one night in Copperface Jacks years ago, great place and centrally located. I think it has history in the 1916 uprising as well iirc.

callum-ayr
Just back from Dublin, stayed at the Charles Stewart which is Parnell Square, just at the top of O'Connell Street, 10 min walk from Temple Bar. Cost us about £100 for 2 nights with breakfast, fairly decent.
Hawk89
We've ended up booking into a place called The Morgan on Fleet Street. Seems to get some really decent reviews on trip advisor, plus has a cocktail bar on the ground floor so thats kept the missus happy.
