Raidernation
Tudor Bovril flavor crisps? And Golden Wonder did baked bean flavour crisps back when I was in infants (Primary 1 - 3 at least) which was certainly a long time before comic relief. rustyarabnuts
Bottles? Cartons? We had bags/pouches. Echo the Thatcher sentiment though. yeah when the milk was delivered to our house it was a pouch! the bottles were what we got in primary school around 1974 onwards
Hampden Diehard
Chipmunk Oxo flavour crisps were the business. Didn't like the stuff much, but the advert for the Cresta drink with the bear singing Elvis' "Teddy Bear", or whatever it was called, ending with "It's frothy, man!" was a classic. Enigma
Bottles? Cartons? We had bags/pouches. Echo the Thatcher sentiment though. We had to suck the milk from a damp cloth - luxury.

jmothecat
Do they not exist anymore? I was reading not too long ago that they outsold traditional mars bars as they were more popular amongst women (who buy the bulk of chocolate), whilst normal mars bars were generally bought by men. How accurate that actually is I'm unsure of.

Shotgun
Cartons??? we had little bottles ,thatchers still a C**t 1/2 pint of warm milk every day. How we used to envy the kids that had been given written permission from their parents not to have to drink it. You haven't lived until you've projectile vomited milk over someone else's art project. ETA: thatchers still a C**t. Obvs.
