Bert Raccoon
We had Alpine round our way, used to get all excited the once or twice a week the van would come round. Alpine Mixed Fruit was supreme. Like Vimto, but better.

supermik
Not read the thread so don't know if been mentioned but can't remember the last time I saw an advert for Horlicks. Never had it but don't know if it is still around.

Latino Lover
Somebody brought snowballs into work the other day, those cream things covered in coconut, was unaware they still existed, didn't have one anyway. Might just be a family thing but we always used to have flans in a sweet bought base with jelly and tinned fruit (council estate) never had one of those in ages either, wonder if you can still buy the bases, used to love them. Not that a rough tough man like me cares but there is about the same amount of calories in a pint of Guinness as a mug of horlicks....or is it ovaltine?
