D.V.T.
Only a Game surely? Which chico said today is getting redone. Sorry should have worded that better. I meant in the old days of Only an Excuse (Tony Roper etc.) Watson would always narrate in the style of McIvanney.
Njord
MacIlvanney's "Laidlaw" books were meant to have been the inspiration for "Taggart"- has there been a murrrderrrr? I was just saying to a mate in the pub today that there was some writing talent in those two MacIlvanney brothers- Hugh and William. Seen somebody going through what an author had told him. Mcilvanney turned up with Laidlaw (name of a car dealership) , STV " hmmmmmmm, naw, you're all right ". Shortly there after another car dealership named Scottish detective was born. Sorry should have worded that better. I meant in the old days of Only an Excuse (Tony Roper etc.) Watson would always narrate in the style of McIvanney. Aye, twigged that a while after my post. Heard chick dung saying only a game is getting redone, fucking tragic. Nothing has happened in the 30 years since (apart from Rangers dying). Fuctifano
Just remembered when I was watching the snooker the other day that I was going to put Ali Carter on my 2015 list, think I made a good call on that one as he appears to be back to full health.
