The 'public' audience was loaded with cuntservatives as we know, two local tory councillors were on the front row, and just how the feck does List MSP Mary Scanlon get to be in the audience? I'm led to believe that the audience is vetted prior to attending however this was clearly not the case.

John Swinney was absolutely outnumbered by the tory scum.

Mary Scanlon actually did a pretty good job as a public representative on a local level, party politics aside.  She was far from the worst of the highland Tories, who are often a very odd bunch.

Wealthy landowner, (inherited), Eddie Mountain is the classic clown and an ex Rupert.

Came fourth when he stood for Caithness, failed when he tried Inverness and Nairn and eventually sneaked in as a list MSP.

Calls himself 'Sir' Edward Mountain as though he was never knighted, nor will he ever be, as a baronet which is the lowest hereditary titled british order with the status of a commoner he can use the prefix Sir.

That in a nutshell explains his total tory pretentiousness

Is that a real front page for the National?

The Game of Thrones reference is tragic.

Photoshopping their faces over some 13th century colonial englishmen from Braveheart would have been much better imo.

Why are the circulation/subscription figures for The National so low?
Reason: I'm probably amongst their target audience but would never buy it.
I buy the Sunday edition but it is on the whole a very poor offering, saved only by the contributions of David Pratt, Andrew Tickell and Stuart Cosgrove with occasional input from The Ferret.
