It's been about 15 years since I was in a posse! Not sure when or how I joined this new P&B posse but if you can let me know who's windows I need to egg we'll take it from there.
Oh, and what's the posse's name? I'm good at thinking up names, probably why I'm in no doubt.

Never said you were in the posse mate, I've already named them the Goalposts on Castors Victim Support Group or some such shit, give it your best shot though. If it's better I'll take it to the committee to vote on?

Okay, I misunderstood and apologise. The lord (well, grimbo) giveth and taketh away. If I'm not in, there'll be no suggestions of names!

Grim...you really should shut the f**k up.

ETA so should everyone else.  This has gone way beyond tedious.

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

Eh?

Not quite sure what you are saying Chris.

I was part of the massive anti-Poll Tax movement that was protesting against the tax itself, got sent down twice because of it. I was at Trafalgar Sq when it all kicked off in 1990. How sad is this but I've got "Poll Tax Rebel" tatted on me to piss off the polis/screws when I got sent down cos they have to note down the tatts.

Aye I accept the council tax is not the poll tax, I've always paid my council tax, I was just asking in here if I could still be done for it up here, simple question the majority verdict was pay it (ya tight c**t, I paraphrase here), so that's what I did, didn't realize I'd have to show the receipt on here. Sorry.

There's a difference between not paying poll tax as a protest against the tax and looking to avoid paying council tax on a buy-to-let property to keep money in your own pocket.

Dearie me. I'm not sure what's the worst post on this thread - Günther's appalling "hey, can't we all just get along?" call to arms, Supermik's wild non-sequitur, or this.

This is where we disagree.  You're not the Niemöller of the board.  There is no moral case here.  There is simply too much Grimbo going on from both sides.

This is a bit like watching chimps dressed up as humans and trying to do 'people stuff'. Genuinely hilarious but tinged with a little sadness at the same time.

No points for guessing who's the one who's just ended up hurling his own faeces around the enclosure.

Oh btw I'm not clever enough to do a buy-to-let property. I bought my wee house in Bolton plenty years ago but couldn't bring it with me when I moved up to Edinbirgh.

I also stated I'm not comparing the poll tax to the council tax, believe me or not but I've paid both the council taxes so Bolton & Edinburgh have their/my money.

Can we put that one to bed mate, it was light-hearted, I wouldn't really come to this forum for proper legal advice, you lot would have me hanged.

Is it done, don't upset Kinky.
