Moonball Posted December 9, 2014 Share Posted December 9, 2014 Mitch is an outstanding shot-stopper and could do a job at Championship level immediately. For me his main weakness is distribution (although it has improved a lot over the past few seasons) and occasional poor decision making. Jackson is coming on to a game now as part of the first team squad, and has a lot of potential.Would be delighted for either of them if they got their move, but it goes without saying that we'd struggle to sign a better keeper than David Mitchell. He's a really petty man so couldn't let it go and got rid of him when he clearly had decent potential and instead signed permacrock McKinlay. Le shocolate moose Posted December 9, 2014 Share Posted December 9, 2014 Mitchell could easily do a job at a higher level ....personally think he is the best keeper in the league and am surprised no one has made a move for him over the last few years... Jackson longridge has come on leaps and bounds since the start of the season as his confidence has grown from getting first team football and at only 19 will keep improving.. Would be surprised if there wasn't interest in more of our players by end of season as some players have been playing really well...was at game on Saturday and thought Grant Gallagher was excellent. If it wasn't for him we would have won by 2 or 3 .
