P.C
Crap draw for us. After the last away trip to Ibrox a lot of Rovers fans will be staying away Probably head to the Spartans game instead

Dazzle
Suppose someone had to get Rangers but what a totally shite draw for us. Yeeeah play the orcs for a 5th time this season
7-2
From an incredibly poor draw. Sky's second pick (after Celtic v Aberdeen) was Dundee Utd v St Mirren... The reason I said there would be doubt is because of the two ties with Premiership teams away to lower league sides, one of which includes the holders in a potential banana skin. In principle you're right of course but this is Scottish football don't forget. As I type this I hear on the radio that one of the highlights of the draw is Rangers at home to Raith. To football fans it isn't. To the media it is. They unfortunately hold the power to decide.
Jamie_B
Disappointed not to get a trip to somewhere I've never been before (Spartans, Berwick or Albion, namely) but always enjoyed trips to Dumfries in the First Division, so looking forward to this. Hope we can have Maclean and Scobbie back to fitness and form in time to continue our defence of the trophy!
Scary Bear
Suppose someone had to get Rangers but what a totally shite draw for us. Yeeeah play the orcs for a 5th time this season Think back to our Second Division days when we were shite, skint and desperate for an away cup tie with either Celtic or Rangers. Little has changed as we've still got debt tied up in the lease/mortgage/rent for Stark's Park and we've still got a poor side. We need cash. Even that almost empty looking ground against Killie had a crowd of 14,000+. Stick in the probable Sky money and it's not to be sniffed at. The Darkest Timeline
Pleased with that. Slight preference for Dunfermline due to the Morris and Moore connection but happy either way.

CityDave
Crap draw for us. After the last away trip to Ibrox a lot of Rovers fans will be staying away Probably head to the Spartans game instead Wasn't there a bit of thuggery from a group of young neds who took a Raith flag of a supporter then destroyed it and posted pics online?. Chateau Lafite
Please no Willie Collum for this tie or Celtic will get even more penalties for imaginary fouls.
7-2
It's certainly a difficult one for Saints. Queens will no doubt have noted our superb record against lower division teams in cup competitions was dented when Rangers beat us in the League Cup a few weeks ago. However, we're coming out of our bad spell and come February could well be a much enhanced team with, as mentioned, Maclean and Scobbie back from injury plus Muzz, McFadden and Lappin all much fitter and more settled in than now with Chris Kane added to the line up. Can't see us bringing anyone else in during the transfer window but the second half of the season is actually looking quite promising with what we already have. We can also decrease the home artificial pitch advantage by regularly practising on our own Stevie May Memorial Superfield and of course Queens will need to play a replacement keeper with us not allowing Zander Clark to play. It'll be difficult but I'd be disappointed if we didn't get through, even at the second attempt.
The Real Saints
I'm fairly happy myself. It's a tough draw for both teams, but it could have been tougher. Maybe not for QotS, on second thoughts, as you'll be playing the Scottish Cup Holders. No big deal.
PauloPerth
Should be a great Cup tie, both sides will feel they have a good chance of going through. Hope it's a Saturday 3pm affair. Any Queens fans - are Saints likely to get half the East Stand and the open terrace behind the goal for this?
Ludo*1
third lanark, on 01 Dec 2014 - 14:59, said:Sorry but Rangers v Raith Rovers is scandalous if that is getting tv coverage. Absolutely ridiculous. Why? In Sky's view, whatever fixture will attract the biggest share of viewers is the correct choice. And unfortunately, the Rangers support leads to them gaining a higher viewership simply because their is more.
sjc
Looks quite open for lower league teams given the amount of all Premiership tie to date. Hopefully both the OF go out this round.
Crùbag
Great tie for Spartans - one they can do. Hibs should have an easy one against Arbroath but they do have a record of bottling it in the Cup against teams in maroon. The Rangers getting eased through the rounds an aw. 'Memo from HQ. Keep Sevco in business. Keep Sevco in business...'

On the contrary, we've been involved in 12 cup draws this season and we've only drawn lower league sides on 3 occasions and 2 of those were in the challenge cup.
