Tynecastle 4 Duns 0

Duns went crashing out yesterday but will be kicking themselves after the game. First half we started off very well and had tynecastle on the back foot. Few quick lads in that tynecastle team were causing us problems especially on the wings. About 15 mins in the game our big centre half stevie did a poor back pass to our keeper which resulted in the first goal. Besides his error i think he played really well and i feel sorry for the big man. We kept ploughing on and again we missed chances which would cost us dearly.

Second half again we started off sharp and roughly 5 - 10 mins into the second half we got a penalty. Only the referee will know why the tynecastle player didnt receive a red card. Big dez stood up and took the pen and unfortunately missed. A good save from the keeper but after that about 2 mins later tynie got their second goal which was our sucker punch and deflated the team big style. After that a feel we lost our edge and discipline and tynecastle started to really get going. They scored a further two goals through bad defending but it happens.

Overall a feel Duns played really well but if you don't score goals you don't win games and thats the harsh lesson we had yesterday. Tynecastle could have scored more but tansey was in fine form with some good saves as did the tynecastle keeper. Also a feel big jordan lambert played really well too.

Next week is peebles away, very hard game as they are a fine side but having played them twice already am sure hopefully we can get something from that game.

Duns 2 Burntisland 8

Well where do i begin? Horrible wind and rain to start with and made it a horrible day considering the recent warm weather. Game started with shipyard starting well with the wind with them you would expect this. They took the lead due to slack marking after our keeper made two great saves but no one was on the follow up. We then drew level and we started to play well. One of the deciding factors of yesterdays result was our sending offs. First Dougie Brydon lashed out after he was fouled and even got the free kick but stupidly kicked out right in the front of the ref and rightfully received a red card.

Second half we started off a lot better and about 5 mins into the half shennan was one on one with the shipyard keeper but he saved well. Right after that shipyard ran up the park and scored. No marking again! We then got our second man sent off. Wee walker at left back for a second booking for a off the ball incident and unfortunately a did not see the incident. Funny the shipyard player was rolling about like he got shot then magically recovered about a minute later. Right after that we totally lost our way and Burntisland then went on how you say a rampage

The team lacks real leadership in defence and midfield and seems when the going gets tough nobody is interested in rolling the sleeves up and do the hard graft. Also a don't understand why they didn't play robinson yesterday and they play Dougie Brydon in midfield when the lad is a centre half? Well done to Burntisland that will be a real confidence booster for them. Only guy that got pass marks in the duns team was the keeper. If it wasn't for him it could ended up being really Embarrassing.

Its ormistons to lose now! Unless ormiston and heriot watt drop more points and the management team give the players a good kick up the arse a think promotion is well and truly dead.

Your report is a bit inaccurate mate. Walker was sent of when it was 4-1 and the game was well and truly won at that stage,
