eccles
Not sure the phone signal on that rd is poor so it was difficult to be contacted. No matter now, these things happen. No Newton Stewarts fault.
CAM
My opinion of this is that because it's built next to trees the pine needles and leaves are blocking the drainage... The flooding that occurs on the park isn't at the same side as the hil, the flooding is at the side of the trees!

eccles
From a geographical point of view trees are meant to soak up water! Obviously there's a problem down there.

Blue-Orchid
It's 3g, but it's also susceptible to water and flooding. Rumour has Debian, you now own a big Raith Rovers flag you could have used to cover the park and stop the flooding.

WhyCantIChooseWigtown
From a geographical point of view trees are meant to soak up water! Obviously there's a problem down there. Was told at the saints game that they (as well as NSFC) had been told to get rid of the trees next to the pitch as they cause problems with the drainage!! Saints did this and NSFC didn't so that seems like it could well be the problem!!
info
Don,t know who told you that but it is nonsense as far as Blairmount is concerned. Newton Stewart did not design or build the facility and do not own the land in or around the pitch. The club have a lease on the pitch and the top field and the Cree Valley Woodlands Trust own and administer the woodlands around the pitch. However dont let the truth get in the way of a slagging off! By the way the pitch was playable Sun morning so the blocked drains must have miraculously unblocked overnight. I had a wander up early doors and the water had drained away fine. Simply a case of an unusually high fall of rain.
