Yes our game v morton called off tonight on the 3G park... Mayb Newton think best to give it every chance to sort for their on league match instead o our friendly but sayin that played on that surface for near a year now more less every wk and it does flood bad considering its a all weather surface. Am sure Andy will do everything in his power to make sore match goes ahead, and young whannel will be over the moon as he's put a bet on wi half the shire Newton -5 as he's heard uppers are that bad... Told him we (wig) struggled down there so wi that attitude happy to take even money -5

Nothing wrong with G4 as it is....we are situated at the bottom of a hill and when heavy rain drains from the hill it ends up on the pitch...when raining this causes extra water but drainage system soon gets rid of it once rain stops...just unfortunate on location as most of others have flat ground around them so do not have a heavy rain problem...but some people going over the top about this...Blairmount Park is a great community asset.....

Lots of uninformed comments on the 3G.The pitch is not waterlogged.the water is not getting away quick enough during torrential rain. The cause is probably the soakaway which was put in place to ensure water did not run straight into Blairmount pond but no doubt the instalers will sort out the problem which to be fair has only showed badly this week.
