The Albert came back from the Roch with a point after a hard fought draw at provanmill.

The game started with a strong wind at the Alberts back. But neither team threatened either keeper. The Albert created the first chance when from a long throw into the box caused the Roch keeper to fumble but there was nobody there to take the chance.

The Roch created the next chance but a good save from Smith in the Albert goal kept them out. Albert were creating chances with there long throw into the box and it was from the long throw they scored when James McGill scored from a head flick from the long throw.

The Roch had another chance but another save from Smith in the Albert goal kept them out.

With two minutes to go the Albert were unlucky not to go two up when Scott McLachlan beat two defenders and his shot hit the inside of the post but there was nobody there to poke in the rebound.

The second half started with the Roch on the attack and within 5mins they equalised from a header from 8yds out. The second game in a row they have let an early second half goal in.

The Roch were having the better of the half and created another couple of chances but thanks to the Albert goalie they couldn't score.

After 15 mins of the second half the Albert were down to ten men when Micheal Anderson was sent off for a foul in the box no arguments about the sending off but there is no place for the Rochs number 10 to follow the ref all over the penalty box waving his arm in a red card gesture.

The Roch missed the resultant penalty.

It was the Albert this time who should have been awarded a penalty when Stevie Cllarke was clearly pulled back whilst running in on goal.

Unfortunately the referee didn't see it that way and waived play on.

The game became scrappy after that but the Roch had a good chance to take the points but they somehow managed to miss when it looked easier to score.

The final whistle went with a draw a fair result although the Roch will be disappointed not winning against ten men.

The Albert worked hard for the draw .

Impressed with the Roch 9. 10 11 and also 5.

Well done to Roch committee best I've seen their park for years, continuing there good work also the StRochs male voice choir.
