H_B Posted October 20, 2014 Share Posted October 20, 2014 There were some hilarious conspiracy theories advanced by Yes supporters prior to the referendum to explain why No were long odds on. My favourite was that the bookmakers deliberately did this, as they knew it was going to be Yes and they just wanted people to think No were going to win. Some hilarious nonsense.
