Zen Archer (Raconteur)
It's like being in a photo booth with Ginger Baker in Dunfermline.

D.A.F.C
Been intense lightning for about an hour here. Can’t remember such a sustained period of it. Mental.
BawWatchin
Either this is by far the most frequent lightening storm i've ever seen in Scotland. Or someones opened a gigantic floating nightclub in the sky.
HoBNob
I don't think I've ever anything like this, just constant sheet lightning, despite that I can't really hear much thunder, it's very low and there's very little rain in Dunfermline.

DA Baracus
Booo! Only a wee bit of lightning here in Dundee and just some distant rumblings of thunder. More storm please.
die hard doonhamer
Loads of it in Perth. Lying in bed with the curtains open, incredible stuff.
Zen Archer (Raconteur)
Rosyth just got shat on.
D Angelo Barksdale
Quite possibly the loudest thunder ever just there. Like a bomb going off in the back garden.

tamthebam
That's over 90 minutes of lightning in the Capital, more entertaining than an Edinburgh derby anyway. A couple of ten minute cloudbursts have saved me having to water the garden tomorrow. Best storm I can remember, at least since I was very little in the hot summer of1976. It's certainly European in scale. Arthur's Seat is taking most of the hits (Hiya Kenneth! Hiya pal!). I wish I was Victor Frankenstein as I could have put this lightning to good use. A stumbling violent resurrected creature made from various parts would have been the ideal centre half for Edinburgh City...
101
Never come home from the pub in knee deep water passing the polis dealing with a floating van!

Ro Sham Bo
This is absolutely mental. Constant lightning since 9pm and now biblical downpours to go with it.
Florentine_Pogen
Southside of Capital City. In my 50+ years, I have never seen rain like this. Quite awesome and the lightshow isn't too bad. Thankfully we live at the top of a hill.
Arch Stanton
I'm quite envious, I love a good batch of thunder and lightning. In Paisley we've had nothing and the skies are so clear we might get a decent display of the Persied meteors ;later on.
