shoemaker
why is there 31 matches on the Scottish west site and 2 byes playing each other?? meaning someone else will get a bye into round 3 ? that's if I`m reading it correct In 2002 when The Ayrshire Leagues and the Central Leagues amalgamated There were a total of 63 teams Central League 39 teams Ayrshire 24 teams, meaning there was an odd team. 31 ties are played leaving one team with a bye. In this draw the 24 Ayrshire teams are playing, so one Central league team has a bye.

peasy23
I think this is the first time for 3 or 4 years that the entire first round has been scheduled for the same day. There have been ties held over due to ground sharing arrangements, iirc there was one season where Greenock/Port Glasgow, Yoker/Clydebank and Larkhall/Royal Albert all got home draws. NorthernLights
I'm in Glasgow on Saturday and was planning on going to our game against Hamilton until it was switched to a Friday night. I'm now in Glasgow until the 6:40pm train back to Aberdeen so have decided to head to the Pollok game. Anyone know what the price is to get in? NorthernLights
£5 Cheers, seems decent enough since you're about £8 to get into a lot of Highland League games.
glensmad
Looking forward to our trip to Keppoch Park to play Glasgow Perthshire tomorrow, and we're anticipating a tough match against a team who have started the season very well. It'll be interesting to see the change in Perthshire from last season, we were last up there in April of this year on Central League Cup duty and the game was abandoned at half time due to the weather. Glens were awarded the tie before it was replayed as it emerged Perthshire had fielded ineligible players. Hopefully tomorrow's match will last ninety minutes. Perthshire have done wonders with their facilities at Keppoch Park, the changing rooms are now spacious and well maintained, and the club behind is bright, big and welcoming, it's a good ground to visit now. Willie Harvey has hinted that he may use tomorrow to get a few players on the pitch who haven't seen much action recently, so we may see the likes of Stephen Low make his debut after breaking his wrist in pre-season, and hopefully there could be a long-awaited return to competitive action for Denis McLaughlin after 18 months out with a really bad knee injury. kerrdavidson95
With Airdrie up at Peterhead I think I'm going to venture to another Junior Game this weekend. Tempted by Pollok or Petershill. Looking down the fixture list theres a fair amount of tasty cup ties going on, good luck to everyone.
Larky55
Beechwood Park is the place to be tomorrow. Talbot struggling a bit since Tucker has stopped wearing his lucky blue kagool. John at the helm of a very skilful but misfiring Cumnock team. 5 goal thriller in prospect, with one of them scoring 3.

It's five years next week since we last faced Cambuslang, they were in the Central District first division at the time and came to Petershill and gubbed us 3-0 in a second round Scottish Junior Cup tie. They've hit a decent run of form lately, but so have we for the most part, should be a good game.
Ayr Victoria
Long trip to Kirkonnel tomorrow to take on an improving Kello side in the west cup who have started reasonably well in the league. Not had much success down there in past so hoping the boys are up for it tomorrow as it will be another tough encounter no doubt.
