mizfit
We had a semi-successful business at school, selling fags and opening up a tuck shop. To stop the vendies undercutting us we turned them off and got all the business. It helps when you've got a friend with a cash and carry card.

My nephew says there's an unofficial tuckshop at his school run by a couple of guys who have... erm, links to local corner shops using rucksacks they bring to school. They've even got a Greggs like meal deal set up with discounts for crisps, juice and chocolate bought together.

It's tax dodging companies like this which are destroying our economy.
Chicken Wing
I wasn't there but mind hearing about it. Nothing will beat the bouncing tyre though. Obsessed!
CLANCY2KTID
I stopped smoking in January this year, I was on 20-30 a day at over £9 a packet, looking back I've absolutely no idea how I ever managed to afford that.
Believe The Hype
They sell them in 19's to reduce the price. £6.25 I pay for 19 rather than go for 20 at £7.50. Must have something to do with tax so they can sell them cheaper. I seen a packet of 14 in the garage a few weeks back.
Karpaty
Do the local shops round schools still sell the "schoolboy starter packs"? 1 Regal, 2 matches and a polo mint. We had a "Special mix-up" at the van that came round to ours. 10 penny sweets and two Mayfair super kings, costing £1.
FraserHFC
There'll be no 10s, 19s or Menthols by 2016 according to this. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/health/10664017/Packets-of-ten-cigarettes-and-menthol-flavours-banned-under-new-EU-rules.html
Richey Edwards
I mainly smoke rollups these days, I find 20 or 19 decks disappear quickly in a puff of smoke.

The Other Foot
I remember years and years ago buying packets of fags from the machines in pubs, and getting only 16 or 17. The bartenders would always claim that the missing fags had been taken out "for the armed forces".

TheLip69
I have never understood the fascination with smoking. I was interviewing someone a year or so back and I asked him if he smoked, he said yes and asked if that would stop him getting the job, I said no, the best candidate would get the job regardless, but that it did make me question his judgement. He was 19, smoking has been widely acknowledged as a cause of cancer, amongst other things, since before he was born yet he still took it up. I just cant understand why anyone in this day and age would start smoking.

Cosmic Joe
Ooft. Some of the language used in 2014 would be considered racist these days.
