Well there's some big difference's of opinion with Hill's and McBookie this week.

Irvine Meadow Evs (hills) 4/7 (McB)

Ardeer 5/4 (hills) 4/6 (McB)

Cumbernauld 5/4 (hills) 8/13 (McB)

Kelty Hearts 4/5 (hills) 4/9 (McB)

Penicuick 10/11 (hills) 4/7 (McB)

Broughty 5/1 (hills) 9/4 (McB)

Jeanfield 13/8 (hills) 19/20 (McB)

Glenrothes 11/10 (hills) 8/13 (McB)

Oakley 7/4 (hills) 6/5 (McB)

Stoneywood 10/3 (hills) 5/4 (McB)

E'burgh Uni 11/4 (hills) 17/10 (McB)

Of course the opposing teams are all much bigger on McBookie's than Hill's as they bet to the same margins but just highlighting the value on Hill's. Stoneywood at 10/3 are the Nap providing the grounds not flooded as there's been loads of rain recently.

Our Scottish Cup opponents Forfar West End will be travelling to Oakley in confident mood after putting 4 past Arniston last week.

Oakley will need to make changes after last weeks 5-0 Scottish exit to Jeanfield where they had 3 sent off.

Not sure how Forfar are fixed squad wise but noticed they have recently taken 3 on loan from Forfar Athletic, 13/10 seems more than fair.

Forfar West End are also looking to extend a 4 game winning streak.

Was Just in william hill Stoneywood 13/8

Hills are certainly changing a lot more prices than usual.

Owen always says money talks.

However (in my opinion) when it is minimum trebles, the shops rarely actually report bets and no internet transactions for info, then I think it stinks a la ladbrokesque

Al - we have a massive liabilty on Stoneywood. Believe if you want but at 10/3 it doesn't take much. Punters put them in trebles with the likes of Tayport, Brora and Wick and also quite a few bets yesterday(money wise) including England and Stoneywwod.

As for ladbrokes esque - I really don't get it. Still less than 10 changes all season from the Junior/Highland/Lowland markets. Ladbrokes had that on one coupon today and I'm sure McBookie will have changed a few as well. We are also still top price on Stoneywood if we were like Ladbrokes we would flip the odds.

did anyone get any cockups value, from Lads this week no been in yet but would imagine all errors will have been over rectified by now

I went up and had a quick look at the Coupon. TBH nothing stood out for me. The odds were NOT on the terminal so I could not check for price changes anyway.

Owen suggests in an earlier post that 10 prices have been changed.

NB It appears to be a waste of time trying to access odds on a Thursday now. Only the Highlander who seems to have an odd method of making matches appear in his shop seems to have any success.

I may have misread the article Al, thought Oakley may have been forced into changes through suspension, however that may not be the case? Though they do have one suspension commencing 10th Oct.

Jeanfield Swifts 5 Oakley United 0

EIGHT-MAN Oakley United crashed out of the Junior Cup with a heavy defeat to Jeanfield Swifts in a performance manager James Watt described as “unacceptable”.

Hopes were high that the Blairwood Park side could still advance to the second round in the replay but they were routed by their Premier League rivals thanks to goals from Gary Fraser, Chris Dodd, Mark Duigan, Steven McManus and Jamie Reid.

Trailing 2-0 at the interval, Watt made attacking changes to his team to try and force a way back into the tie but the three second half dismissals made it an impossible task as Jeanfield progressed to a home tie with Bridge of Don.

Watt said, “I am disappointed with the result and the performance. The goals we were losing were coming from our own mistakes which you can’t do. The performance was not acceptable and even with 11 men after 10 minutes it wasn’t good enough. I’m disappointed to be out the cup at such an early stage and we got beat fair and square by the better team on the day which is something we need to address this week.

“I don’t like making excuses but the referee didn’t help. For us to have three men sent off was absolutely crazy; you could maybe argue the case for one of them being two yellow cards, but the second one was for simulation when our player was clearly fouled and for the third, our boy’s been fouled, the referee waves play on and then our centre half fouls and is the last man.

“But we need to move on and it’s about how we react now. We’ve been inconsistent until now and there are opportunities for other players this week as there might be a bit of a shake-up with some boys who are maybe due a chance getting one.”
