Everyone just assuming Messi now retiring from international football as he's bowing out on top.

He's came out tonight and said he's carry on for Argentina as he wants carry on playing for them

He's came out tonight and said he's carry on for Argentina as he wants carry on playing for them and wear the shirt they'll take to field in as World Champions which when you think about it, makes perfect sense.

Didn't realise as well, he's now on 98 international goals. Only 11 behind Ronaldo. Wouldn't be at all shocked if that record falls in due course.

That's not what he said. He wants to play for them as world champions. He'll play a couple more games that's it.

I've had a good read over this while at work the past few days, and it really is incredible.  There's morons amongst us having actually witnessed Lionel Messi play football, who've spent the best part of a decade not only trying to argue that Messi isn't the best ever but that Cristiano Ronaldo is better than him.

Some ridiculously hilarious shouts, especially in the last few pages regarding Messi being finished, never win an international trophy etc.

I would strongly recommend reading this from the start, as it is sheer entertainment.  It also provides an easy indication of those who know and understand the game and those who don't.

Eight points clear when they sign Cristiano Ronaldo on obscene wages. He turns up, makes everything about himself and they lose the league with a game to go.

Ladies and gentlemen, al nassr football club.

Meanwhile, after an against all odds World Cup captaining win, Leo Messi took the underdogs of Paris to the title yesterday, scoring their goal in a 1-1 draw.

He should change his name to Ciro, the man is Immortal!
