Dee Man
What's the update? Humped due to your previous overstay? Or due to your "Tannadice" banning? It's been referred to a new department that assesses applications from anyone with any convictions regardless how minor. Apparently they are "notoriusly slow". Not sure how anything that's only been in existence since July can be notoriously anything but that's what they said. You murder a couple of prozzies and it's held against you for the rest of your life. Sake.

Eednud
In the looking-increasingly-unlikely-event that I ever get my visa rubber stamped to move to Australia, then my first purchases will be a flame thrower and a blunderbuss. But rest assured they won't bite you if you leave them alone. All the best with the immigration prats.

I am fully aware that I'm boring people shitless with the Oz chat but I am going to kick the arse right out of it until I have started to bore myself with it (not too long). What's your thoughts on me changing my avatar to a koala and starting a thread entitled Dee Man's Exciting Australian Emigration Adventure?

What's your thoughts on me changing my avatar to a koala and starting a thread entitled Dee Man's Exciting Australian Emigration Adventure? Just do it - its not as if its annoying or anything and it would probably be quite entertaining. I remember having a friend who was going on a sabbatical there around the same time as i was there and my word what a song and dance he made about it, as though he was setting foot where no man had gone before. He genuinely thought the streets would be lined with people welcoming him home when he got back. Would be quite funny if you went down that path a little bit..

It's more likely the streets will be lined with people to make sure I'm leaving tbh.
