Couldn't find the cat (he'd eat it) so instead of killing it I thought I'd cover it with a bowl and let the missus deal with it (she can pick them up). Sadly for old Terry the Tarantula my aim was a bit off and I chopped him in half as I attempted to cover him with the bowl.
