Petershill one is very intriguing. I included it in the predictor because you have two teams in form from opposite ends of the country playing each other. Also have the unknown in the home team.

I'll be surprised if Petershill don't win this one at first attempt.

Harthill v Darvel

With all the goings on at Harthill over the last few weeks they will be looking to progress on and off the pitch. Darvel have been playing well preseason and may feel that they have a chance.

With the greatest respect I think Darvel would expect to beat Harthill as they have been playing well for a couple of seasons

Just thought it might be a tight one a you can imagine a team with hermes record this season will go into it full of confidence, nothing to lose.

To be fair I have only seen them once and it was a pre season friendly which they did win but I'd be shocked if any of out top flight sides struggled up here on what I've seen since I've been here.

I can assure you that they aren't "unknown."

You can watch them several times but that still doesn't give you a real idea or what they are all about, just my opinion. We played dyce who were flying like hermes and had them watched several times and i was talking to someone after the game and he said they played nothing like what he had seen previously and they took us a bit by surprise. So i stick by the unknown bit though maybe element of the unknown would of sounded better.

Heard this type of stuff before about teams from the Aberdeen area having a great record in their domestic leagues / cups etc.

The thing you've got to realise despite the very very odd exception is that they play against dung outfits most weeks hence their good records and stats.

Obviously teams like culter have done well of late in the senior Scottish but they are generally the exception to the rule.

The problem with these Aberdeenshire , Morayshire , Grampian teams is that any decent players they have are constantly snapped up by Highland league clubs.
