Cicero
Galloway rambling on about Great Britain standing united in the Battle of Britain. What about Iraq George? I doubt whether an independent Scotland would have taken part in either of the Iraqi campaigns.

Granny Danger
Galloway's first contribution to the debate was worse than his last one. George, the former Marxist, the supposed Socialist, telling the audience that their decision on how to vote should be determined by the scare tactics of multi-national capitalism. What a disgrace. the_bully_wee
Not surprised that a few of the audience members seemed to be certain no voters yet were woefully un- or misinformed. I had someone saying to me this evening that "they thought I was smart", who went on to alert me to the perils of the banks "moving down south". I explained why that doesn't affect us and then provided the link to Salmond answering the same question earlier, and was met with a response of "why do you believe everything that comes out of his mouth?". Sensational.

the jambo-rocker
Ruth Davidson said at the end that competitiveness between Scotland and the rUK would be a bad thing. That was, and to an extent, still is literally the scope of hers, the Conservative's neo-liberal economic policy.

ScotlandGer
Oh George, that's put you beyond the rubicon. Credibility lost. Just watching him, there, I think even he realises it too. I predicted he would adopt his (New Labour/moderate) Labour persona, but he ended embarrassing himself and actually got worse as the programme went on. Granny Danger
Bitter Together, a Labour dominated organisation, thought Galloway, a man whose only recent foray into Scottish politics led to a bloody nose, was better to represent them than a Labour Party spokesperson.
