DBT92
I'm coming up north this weekend with Dalbeattie Star, to face Golspie Sutherland in the Scottish Cup, and I'm just on here wondering what it's like up there? Could anyone help?

Cyclizine
Golspie is pretty much a one street town. Pubs are a bit meh, chipper's good though. Can't miss KGV Park on the right as you drive in from the south. It's pretty much a walled-off public park with pavilion (club access only) in the corner. There's no cover. I suspect there will be pies and programme on offer as it's a cup game and probably a fiver to get in. DBT92
Haha cheers! I thought it would be unicorns since it's the next right after narnia? As long as there's a pub we will be fine! Looking forward to it! Cheers for the photos! What's the team like? Don't fancy a 7 hour journey home if we have been beat haha
Cyclizine
They're not bad for a Highland amateur side, but I would think Dalbeattie would be favourites. Edinburgh City beat them pretty convincingly last season. It's difficult to compare the level NCL teams given there's only half a dozen of them and the season's just started, but they were well beaten by Wick Academy in the NOS Cup last month. Ps.mind and go past fife. There will be at least one bus plus cars coming down, there will be a few from our Inverness fans, likely be about 80 plus, but if enough interest is generated like the Stenny game last year we had a few hundred plus rakes of cartoon characters, but whatever we will be there, pubs to recommend ?,going to Edinburgh for the weekend,so will be in the 3rd platform for sure. HTG
Cheers for that,my days o pub crawls are over,,am sure the younger folk will be up for it,.My better half has a nephew in Lithie so we're catching up with him pre-match.. If you're not up for a mega session then you'd be as well having lunch in the town and then heading to the Rose social club next to the ground. You'll get food in the West Port hotel which is 5 minutes walk from the ground. Food also available in the old post office near the station as well as the four Marys and Auld hole in the wall near the cross in the middle of the high street. Bar Leo will be open for a civilised restaurant lunch not far from the station in the high street and on the opposite side of the road. The social club doesn't do food but obviously you'll get something inside the ground. Have a great day apart from the result!
