BerwickMad
I hear 4 of the 6 SNP MPs failed to turn up for the vote on the unfair bedroom tax today. Pretty poor considering they're supposed to be against it.
Bill.
Probably still in bed?
Casual Bystander
I hear that you have no vote, and on the 18th you plan to spend the day standing at the border, shaking your fist with an angry look on your face and mumbling, "independence I'll give you bloody independence"... Mr Bairn
Probably still in bed? Exactly. They bang on about independence but when they have a chance to actually make a tangible difference they can't be arsed to get their butt out of bed. Disgraceful. Well Well
Exactly. Davi3j
So 4 SNP MPs didnt turn up to vote on a bill that wouldn't end the "bedroom tax"??? and. . .
Michael W
Pete Wishart claims he missed the vote because his flight was late. 20mins late, to be precise. No excuses at all for that.
Casual Bystander
Funny how Labour and the Liberals have had years to get together to try and remove the tax, yet now when it's being used as an obvious PR thing in regard to the referendum it's all the SNPs fault? .. you have to love the desperate nodrones. No blame for the Conservatives for introducing it, the Liberals for assisting them in it or Labour for taking so long to get round to challenging it? It's the fault of 4 SNP MPs? 650 MPs, yet 4 are to blame?

Well Well
Exactly. They bang on about independence but when they have a chance to actually make a tangible difference they can't be arsed to get their butt out of bed. Disgraceful. The tangible difference of offsetting the bedroom tax in Scotland which Labour oppose..!!
Casual Bystander
...and you are pinning your hopes on these people running your country... Well they've actually done a pretty good job up until now. And clearly the electorate think so as they voted them into a second term by a massive majority. So... Also, you say "your", which pretty much suggests you are neither Scottish nor living in Scotland. Oooft, Bill, such a shame you've outed yourself so early on in your new alias. speckled tangerine
Labour brought it in for private rented tenants so well done indeed. They might (might) get rid of a morally repugnant policy they invented.
pandarilla
How many times does it need to be stated: THIS ISN'T ABOUT THE FUCKING SNP!
Well Well
So they can turn up on the Wednesday to antagonise by waving Yes placards but fail to vote against the Affordable Homes Bill on the Friday? I'm sure they all have their excuses and it's up to you whether you want to believe them. But they only have themselves so blame if others choose to believe the vote didn't go the way they wanted it to today as its been one of the selling points of a Yes vote. They are too busy fighting all the lies and deceit being pumped out in Scotland by the Unionist parties. At the end of the day once the hard work is done and we are independent then the bedroom tax will be gone in one swift move. I see Lamont got a huge welcome in Govan today..!! Casual Bystander
Do the desperate nodrones realise that people don't suffer the bedroom tax up here because the SNP led government put measures into place to stop it? Basically voting on it would help the rUK people suffering from it. Fucking scroungers, always asking for handouts those lot.

Antiochas III
Surely the vote went the wrong way for the benefit of the people by less than 4 votes.
